Two versions done to the same song, "You". I really want to know the lyrics to this, if there's a translation out there somewhere? It has to fit really well, since there are two versions and that first video is insanely popular.

我比想象中爱你
The title of the song translates to something like, "I love you more than I imagined". I can translate the lyrics if anyone's interested. They fit freakishly well with the betrayal arc.

Notification System  
Hey Guys,

Unfortunately with our last release, and its instability, we were forced to roll back releases. Unfortunately in doing so, it would seem that our notification system has been broken somehow. Our engineers are working on this issue as quickly as possible. We hope to have a patch within the next day, so we can deploy our code and fix the notification system at the same time. Please *bear* with us ;)

Currently all notifications are being queued up so they can be processed as soon as the fix is pushed and verified to be working correctly.

Now, because I am bored and slowly going completely bat-shit crazy without any kind of schooling to keep my mind going, it is meme time. Seriously, I didn't realize how much I fucking depended on school and academia to keep me sane. I am at the point where re-writing all of my university level papers seems like a good plan. Or taking a seven week crash course in advanced calculus, geometry and discreet mathematics... ;A;

dominoes, n. pl. [dom-uh-nohz, dŏm-ə-nōz]
-There's a lot of uncertainty in the etymology of dominoes, a game played with tiles (called dominoes), the faces of which are divided in half, with the halves either blank or decorated with a certain number of dots. In English, this word for the tiles first appears in 1801, borrowed from French domino (a singular noun first recorded in 1771). It's at this point that scholars seem to hit a dead end. To date, the only known possible trail leads to the black cloak and hood worn by priest as a symbol of their calling and also worn as a veil by women in mourning. In this use, domino ultimately comes from Latin domino, the dative form of dominus 'lord, master,' used in religious services as a name for God. The only link scholars can come up with between this hooded cloak and the game tiles are their coloring and design, as the tiles are separated in the middle with black dots on either side, similar to a black robe being tied at the waist.

[SINGLE - KPOP] Brave Brothers (feat. U-Kiss) ▪ Passionate  
Whooo, look look look! Brave Brothers releases a new single with U-Kiss. "Finally", an amazing R&B ballad. Seriously, it's really gorgeous (sounds like After School's "Because Of You" and B2STs "Oasis" a bit but that's normal, Brave Brothers' productions lack originality) and despite the unecessary autotune (because the guy featured on the title track sings very well indeed), lovin' it A LOT. On other hand, we have "3AM", a Hip Hop track. It's pretty good too, but kind of generic - more like an Epik High leftover to me.

She transferred here from a time before the invention of staplers.  
An employee at my office approached me with two broken staplers today. I put them on my desk to fix later and directed her to the box of orphaned staplers that have accumulated over the years. She went back to her office, and returned a few minutes later, saying the third stapler was broken too. I wasn't surprised; they're all old. She said the fourth one worked.

Near the end of the day, I decided to check the staplers for jams, opened each up, and stared unbelievingly. They ran out of staples. I refilled them, thinking it couldn't be that easy. It was.

I told the employee, "They work now," and put them all back, having decided against teaching the employee about refilling a stapler. Honestly, I'm hoping to see if she ever figures it out, or if there will be another stapler to "fix" soon. This is just too amusing; I must watch it run its course. Train wrecks like this can be fascinating.

That long, huh?  
I'm alive, really I am. There has just been a lot going on. Some of which has been for the better, however there's also been a distressing amount otherwise.

Not so much of an actual post as just a notice that I do, in fact, remember that this thing - and the multitude of friends I've made these past six years; you all mean more to me than I fear I ever properly express - exists. I'm still a little early, but it's been an interesting six years.

Happy [early] birthday, journal. What would I have done without you; venting about the woes of adolescence and the slow ascent-descent (I can't quite place whether it's an upwards or downwards journey.) into adulthood surely wouldn't have been the same for my attention-whore of a self, hmm?

(Not saying that I'm an adult yet, mind you. Just that I'd like to believe I'm a little further along. Doesn't mean I'll get over my ("childish", so says society, but I happily stick my fingers in my ear and pretend not to listen) obsessions any time soon.

(And perhaps for a birthday gift, I'll give my journal some new icons. I don't have anything that properly illustrates my melancholic/contemplatic/listless/mirthful lovechild. Perchance that's just me though... Here, have some Kanda looking off into the sunset distance.)




(On a final, vaguely related note: It's official; Fandom, like fashion, sadly repeats itself. Translation: I'm reading Tenipuri again. ...I blame the fact that it, like D.Gray-man, runs in JumpSQ. Meaning that as I'm flipping through trying to find my Kandapanda, I happen to see Echizen or Atobe or bloody Yuuta (whose fault this is entirely, by the way; I damn near lost it when I saw that scarred mug.) and stop and stare and say "What the hell? It can't hurt anything." I was clearly wrong, as it most certainly did hurt something(s) - that being my pride and soul - and now I return you to your previously scheduled journal entry.

  • Marion dug up the drabbles in her (now alive) laptop. Will probably post in a few minutes.
  • Mom bought a treadmill and an Ab Rocket. I... don't know how to feel about that. Goodbye, life without exercise.
  • Watched Paranormal Activity with my brother. It was so funny when the demon suddenly yanked her foot and dragged her across the hallway. :)) Must. Buy. DVD. Alternate ending, do want. Kuya says the DVD ending's better.
  • Still haven't done the prob set.
  • I saw a guy who looked like Zhou Mi in Glorietta a while ago. Wanted to take a picture but couldn't because. Well. I'd look crazier than usual.
